and wife Catherine Harmon Ward(1785-1852) came from Valle Crucis NC, and
settled at the mouth of Beech Fork Creek, in Campbell County TN., about 1824;
Three of their daughters married brothers namely;
Clarissa md Claibourn Phillips; Susannah md Moses Phillips;
Mary(Vina) md John Phillips(1820-1852) from NC.
John settled about a mile below Beech Fork Church on the opposite side of the
creek in the upper right side of the Hackworth Branch.
